“Love is like a tree, it grows of its own accord, it puts down deep roots into our whole being.” ― Victor Hugo

Last week we welcomed the Lord Lieutenant, Mr Andrew Blackman, to the Hospice for a tree planting ceremony, as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC), a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

“Our beautiful gardens are so important to our patients and their families, and we hope visitors to the gardens will enjoy this new addition,” commented Dr Karen Clarke, Chief Executive at St Michael’s Hospice.

We can’t wait to watch our beautiful pear tree grow and bloom.
