Education and training for healthcare professionals

As a local specialist palliative care provider, we are proud to offer high-quality education and training opportunities to healthcare professionals across Hastings and Rother. Our aim is to support the development of knowledge and skills that enhance the delivery of compassionate, person-centred care for those with life-limiting illnesses.

We welcome professionals from a wide range of healthcare settings, including nursing homes, care homes, GP practices, and community health teams. Whether you’re a registered nurse, healthcare assistant, or allied health professional, our sessions are designed to support your learning and professional development.

Sharing expertise with our community

We’re delighted to share our specialist knowledge with local healthcare partners. Our training is delivered by experienced clinicians and educators who are passionate about improving palliative care across the region.

Many of our sessions are funded by the Integrated Care Board (ICB), making them free to attend for eligible participants. For non-funded training, a small fee may apply. Please note that some sessions are specifically tailored for registered nurses—this will be clearly indicated during the booking process.

Flexible learning opportunities

Our training programme includes a variety of formats to suit different learning styles and schedules, including:

  • In-person workshops and seminars
  • Online webinars and e-learning modules
  • Bespoke training tailored to your organisation’s needs

Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of symptom management, communication skills, or end-of-life care planning, we have sessions to support your goals.
