Light up the night and join us for the Moonlight Walk 2026 on Saturday 26th September. This 7km seafront walk, celebrates life and loved ones, and helps raise much-needed funds for the Hospice.

This year’s walk will take place on the night of the full Harvest moon and is perfect for all the family to enjoy, including your well-behaved four-legged friends. So get ready for an unforgettable night –  grab your fairy lights, your Moonlight Walk t-shirt and join us for a memorable evening.

This year’s walk will include:

• A glowing lantern installation at the end of the walk, which will be a beautiful tribute to loved ones.
• Entertainment and surprises along the way.
• A memory screen, full of photographs and messages to people we miss.
• An event village with food stalls, face-painting, light up merchandise and entertainment.

What does registration include?

• A paper memory lantern to decorate in honour of someone special (with a battery tea light provided at the event).
• A Moonlight Walk t-shirt (if you don’t already have one from 2025 that you can wear).
• Snacks at the halfway point.
• Entertainment along the route.
• A reward for completing the walk.
