We’re creating a fresh new welcome for those visiting the Hospice.
We’re excited to announce that work will soon begin to enhance spaces in the Hospice, thanks to a Department of Health and Social Care grant. These improvements will make our environment brighter, more comfortable, and welcoming for everyone.
Reception Flooring Replacement: Visiting instructions.
From Friday 16th January to Wednesday 21st January, the carpet in Reception will be replaced with vinyl flooring. During this time Reception will be closed and temporary access routes will be in place.
Daytime Visitors
- Follow the directional signage upon arrival.
- You will be guided to the temporary Garden Room entrance, accessible via the gate on the main drive.
- From there, follow the steps leading to the upper lawn.
Night-time Visitors
- Use the Reception intercom for entry.
- You will then be directed to the rear entrance of the In-Patient Unit.
Disabled Parking (Daytime)
- Parking will temporarily be relocated to the small car park in front of the chapel on Upper Maze Hill.
- Signage will guide you along an accessible pathway running parallel to the patient rooms.
Café Service
- Our café remains open in the Garden Room, offering sandwiches and snacks.
We thank you for your patience while we make these changes. We can’t wait to welcome you to the refreshed Reception area, with more improvements coming before the end of March.
