Volunteer Retail Assistant – St Michael’s Hospice Shops

As a Retail Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of our shop, helping to raise essential funds for St Michael’s Hospice. Whether you’re welcoming customers, creating eye-catching displays, or working on the till, your time and energy will help us continue providing compassionate care to those who need it most.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items
- Operating the till and handling transactions
- Creating stylish window and in-store displays
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and inviting
- Promoting the work of St Michael’s Hospice
- Supporting the shop manager and team
What We’re Looking For:
- A friendly and approachable personality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- A presentable appearance and positive attitude
- Retail or customer service experience is a bonus—but not essential!
