We are so thankful to the volunteers, employees and supporters who helped raise vital funds and awareness for hospice care and the specialist palliative care services that we offer to the diverse community of Hastings and Rother.

Ahead of the Yellow Week celebrations, our Fundraising team enjoyed meeting some of our supporters who came to see Adam the Yellow Week tree at Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, Hastings, on Sunday 12th February. Local shoppers and staff enjoyed taking pictures with Adam and getting to know more about Yellow Week and our valuable services.

Our Retail team and volunteers worked hard to put together eye catching Yellow Week shop window displays across our seven high-street shops in Hastings and Rother. We hope this inspired your Yellow Week activities and equipped you with what you needed to take part.

There was a jolly atmosphere on Friday 24th February at St Michael’s Hospice when our healthcare team, staff, volunteers and supporters came together to celebrate the occasion. The Yellow Brick Road art competition was displayed in the Arthur Easton Centre, which highlighted how talented and supportive the community of Hastings and Rother is. In addition, a Yellow cake bake competition was held.

Thank you to everyone who took part in Yellow Week. Your contribution means we can continue to support and enable the community of Hastings and Rother live well with dying, death and loss.
