Leave a Gift in your Will (DRAFT)

Leave a Gift in your Will (DRAFT)

Why are gifts in Wills so important?

Leaving a charitable gift in your Will is a generous and impactful thing to do. They are a hugely valuable source of income for St Michael’s Hospice, and it costs you nothing to leave a gift now.

Why consider St Michael’s Hospice?

1 in 3 of our patient’s care is funded by gifts in Wills. If the time is right for you to include a gift to St Michael’s Hospice in your Will, your gift would be gratefully received. We support around 1,850 people each year so you will be helping to provide palliative care services to future generations in Hastings and Rother.

Your gift will help us to fund nurses, clinical excellence, or to expand our range of bereavement services. Or your gift could help us provide state of the art beds and mattresses, nutritious food, or beautiful garden plants for patients to enjoy.

If you don’t already have a Will, it’s never too soon to think about one.

Did you know you could leave a percentage of your estate to us?

Gifting a percentage of your remaining or residuary estate is one of the best ways you can support us, whilst also looking after those closest to you first. Whatever the size of your gift to us, you will make an enormous difference with your wish.

A charitable gift could also be a simple cash payment, or a specific item, such as a car or an artwork.
