A very special guest joining us at our Hospice Open Gardens. Jean Griffin, Gardening Expert and Radio Personality, will be sharing her years of experience and knowledge on all things gardening. Come along and ask Jean about any gardening queries you have, from identifying plants, to what to plant this month, between 11am-1pm.
Jean has spent her whole life working in horticulture with a passion for talking about plants and sharing her wealth of knowledge. She has been a Judge and Trustee for Bloom, was previously the President of the Kew Guild, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture. Suffice to say, this is not one to miss!
Jean has kindly offered her time to chat to us. She says “Horticulture has been good to me, and I want to give something back”. So if you’re a newbie gardener and need some tips for how to start, or have experience and want to delve deeper into the gardening world, this Q&A is for you.
