Big Sing 2026 is a free community choir singing event in Hastings, bringing together local choirs for a full day of live performances at St John’s Church. Whether you love choral music or simply enjoy live community events, don’t miss this choir festival in East Sussex.

Every live choir performance brings something different, with their own style, personality and choice of songs. There’ll be plenty of familiar favourites, some unexpected choices and lots of brilliant live singing to enjoy throughout the day.

Doors open at 9am, with the first choir, Vocal Tones, taking to the stage at 9.30am. With 23 choirs performing (full list of choirs and times below) throughout the day, the final performance will come from Hastings Male Voices at 8.30pm, bringing the day to a close.

You can sit back and enjoy the performances, support your favourite choir, or join for a song or two. It’s a relaxed, free, friendly day for anyone who enjoys live music and the sound of people singing together.

There’ll be refreshments available throughout the day, and a bar in the evening.
There’s no need to sign up, just pop along to this free to enter live music event. Stay for a song, or stay for the whole day.

Most importantly, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds for St Michael’s Hospice and the work we do in our local community. We’d love to see you there.
