Tree Of Rememberance

Tree of Remembrance

The Tree of Remembrance offers family and friends the opportunity to remember their loved ones with a hand-made copper leaf. The tree is made from reclaimed timber and adorns one wall in the Hospice reception area outside the entrance to Day Services.

The copper leaf will remain on the tree for 12 months initially* and the names of all of those remembered will be added to the Tree of Remembrance book located next to the Tree. All the leaves have been hand-made by local copper-smith, Sian Evans, who also donated the copper title plaque which sits alongside the tree. All leaves are species indigenous to the UK and you can choose from: Beech, Birch, Holly, Oak, Poplar or Willow.

The tree looks and sounds amazing when covered in copper leaves, bringing the beautiful Hospice gardens indoors. You are welcome to visit the tree seven days a week from 8am to 8pm.

*You will be able to continue for a further 12 months if you wish.
