Retail Receptionist

Days: This will be agreed between you the Retail Operations Team Leader

Location: The Donation Centre, Queens Way Avenue South, St Leonards on Sea, TN38 9AG

What is the role?

Supporting the Retail Operations Team Leader, being the first point of contact for the public and booking in collections and deliveries. 

What will I be doing?

Under the instruction of the Operations Team Leader you will be able to help with –

  • Being the main point of contact for the Donation Centre, ensuring reception is covered during working hours, providing excellent customer service whether by phone, email or face to face
  • Arranging collection of donations using the electronic booking system (Microsoft Outlook)
  • Arranging delivery of items purchased in the St Michael’s Hospice Shops
  • Attending relevant induction and training sessions
  • Reading communications sent out by the Hospice and Retail manager
  • Understanding and demonstrating relevant policies and procedures during your volunteering at St Michael’s Hospice
