Fundraising Volunteer

Days:Volunteer at fundraising events throughout the year

Location: Various Locations

What is the role?

To assist the Fundraising Team in the delivery of their events, ensuring they run smoothly and provide an excellent experience to participants and visitors.

What will I be doing?

This can be varied but will typically include things like;

  • Selling raffle tickets and taking an entry fee
  • Collections at events and stores
  • Cheering runners at events such as the Hastings Half Marathon
  • Signing in event participants
  • Marshalling a walk
  • Manning a stand
  • Welcoming guests
  • Handing out goody bags
  • Decorating or setting up an event
  • Attending any relevant training or meetings
  • Understanding and demonstrating relevant policies and procedures during your volunteering at St Michael’s Hospice.
