Flower Arranging Volunteers

What is the role

Volunteers will use their creative skills to repurpose donated wreaths and bouquets to provide floral displays across the main Hospice building.

Role tasks

• Take apart donated wreaths and bouquets and recondition floral materials ready for display
• Remove and safely dispose of spent displays
• Create displays utilising various vases etc.

Skills and Experience Required

• Some floristry experience would be welcome 
• A creative eye
• Able to work on own initiative with minimum of direction
• Good team working skills.

Personal Qualities Required

• Commitment 
• Resourcefulness
• Able to act on initiative and understand organisational priorities
• Sensitivity to the environment
• Open to learning new skills and attend any training required.
