e-Commerce Volunteer

Days: This will be agreed between you and the e-commerce manager

Location:The Donation Centre, Unit 1, Queensway Avenue South, St Leonards on Sea, TN38 9AG

What is the role?

Supporting the e-commerce manager with the day to day running of our online stores..

What will I be doing?

Under the instruction of the e-commerce manager you will be able to help with the –

  • Operation of our online eBay, Amazon and Abe Books stores
  • Scanning of DVD’s, CD’s and books in order to sell them online for us on various platforms
  • Sorting stock deemed fit for sale via our online platforms
  • Dispatching sold items  helping us with packing and dispatching of various items sold online
  • Helping product specialists to undertake research and evaluate various donations for us
  • Photographing donations to be sold online
  • Providing support in a variety of administrative  tasks
  • Advising the e-commerce manager of any planned absences as soon as possible and on the day in case of illness
  • Promoting the services offered by St Michael’s Hospice and the importance of raising funds
  • Attending relevant induction and training sessions
  • Understanding and demonstrating relevant policies and procedures during your volunteering at St Michael’s Hospice.
