30 Miles in 30 Days

To celebrate our 30th anniversary we are encouraging everyone to get active and join our 30 Miles in 30 Days challenge.

To celebrate our 30th anniversary we are encouraging everyone to get active and join our 30 Miles in 30 Days challenge.

Whether you are a runner, swimmer, cyclist or walker we would love you to sign up. Alternatively, perhaps you would like to do something wacky like hop, skip, jump or pogo, the decision is yours? The dates, location and times are completely flexible, we only ask you to cover 30 miles in 30 days. 

Whilst the challenge covers a set distance, it allows you to decide the route, time of day and pace of your activities. You can choose whether to complete the full distance in one outing or split the distance into multiple shorter ones.

This challenge is excellent motivation for you to get out and get active. Whether you need to train for upcoming races, want to build your fitness and confidence levels or perhaps you want to just keep fit or simply to get out and have fun? The event is open to all ages so why not sign up the kids too? 

Use your smartphone or any sports tracker app such as Garmin or Strava etc, to monitor your progress, save your sessions and send us a summary when your 30 miles are completed. In return we will send you a certificate and a special edition 30th anniversary medal for completing the challenge.

How does the virtual race work?
1.    Choose the activity you would like to complete (remember as long as its 30 miles what activity/activities you choose is up to you)
2.    It costs just £15 to register and in return you will receive a medal and certificate at the end of your challenge. Download a registration form and simply
print, complete and return
3.    Track the distance/time over 30 days in any month in 2017
4.    Send us proof of your completed 30 miles from any sports tracker or app
5.    Once we receive your summary of activity we will post your much deserved medal and certificate.
