Christmas Card Appeal 01

Christmas Card Appeal

Support the Hospice and protect the environment this Christmas

With the festive season fast approaching, we would like to invite you to support us by taking part in this year’s St Michael’s Hospice Christmas Card Appeal.

The idea is that people in your organisation raise funds by writing their Christmas messages to each other in a large shared card rather than purchase individual cards. Over the past 12 years the appeal has raised £25,000 and we would like to thank all those who have taken part, including local artists Tracey Brown and Bob Erends whose artwork features on the cards.

Taking part couldn’t be simpler. We’ll provide the card free of charge so all that’s left is to:

•    Place the card somewhere central where everyone can sign it
•    Ask everyone who signs to donate the money they would have spent on Christmas cards to the Hospice.

Each year it costs £6m to run the Hospice, of which we must raise £4.3m ourselves. This is no easy task so your support, no matter how small or large, is greatly appreciated as we care for patients and their families at this special time of year.
