How to donate pre-loved items
As a retired antiques dealer, working at the donation centre keeps me active and gives me something to do, while feeding my passion for antiques. I recently listed a Charles Dickens book on eBay which sold for £240! Now that’s definitely a good days volunteering for the Hospice.John, Retail Volunteer
Our shops rely on the generosity of local people donating clothes and pre-loved items they no longer want. You can either bring your pre-loved items to your nearest St Michael’s Hospice shop or to our Donation Centre. If you are donating furniture to the Donation Centre, please call ahead of your visit to schedule a time on 01424 728728 (our reception desk is attended Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm). Alternatively if you are donating items of furniture or other large items, we can collect from your home or office. We are also able to arrange House Clearances.
We are very grateful to local and national businesses who donate end of lines stock to us. If you own a company that has items to donate, we'd love to hear from you.
Number 66 Queens Road (Hastings) and 79 Devonshire Road (Bexhill on Sea) are both currently closed, while essential maintenance work is carried out, during this period please can we ask that no donations are left outside the shop.
