This garden has two distinct areas, the second of which leads to a pond and arbour for relaxing. Planting throughout is a mixture of shrubs and perennials which can be viewed from a patio edged by many pot plants.

This is a large peaceful garden, with varied borders surrounding a large patio and lawn with a fountain at its centre. There is at the far end a hidden vegetable garden with greenhouse and potting shed.

A return visit to this garden which was re-designed by the distinguished designer Robin Williams, a former Gold medallist at Chelsea and RHS judge. There are several new features but the cats and the curves remain.

The gardens offer a peaceful and quiet area where patients and families can spend time and relax. Our gardener and his team of volunteers ensure that there is always colour and something to enjoy throughout the year with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the gardens and wildlife. Different areas include a tropical bed, sensory garden, herbaceous borders, woodland and greenhouses, one of which is wheelchair accessible as we actively encourage patients to take part in gardening activities.

How to get there: From Hastings take the A259 towards Bexhill on Sea turn right into London Road and take the fourth left into Pevensey Road proceed to Upper Maze Hill. Please park on public roads.
