Hidden from the busy High Street is this fascinating small walled garden which features an eclectic mix or art and plants. The owner, an artist has a passion for gardening and incorporates everyday items into the design.

Tucked away in one of the Old Town’s many twittens is this very pretty courtyard garden. Clever use of space, colour and plants to provide texture and interest throughout the year. This secluded spot provides a sunny tranquil place to sit and enjoy warm summer evenings.

A modern south-west facing garden with splendid views across the Old Town. Features include a long raised fishpond, several small tress including rowans, eucalyptus and olives, a fireplace in the walls of the original building that stood on the site.

There are splendid views of the East Hill from the top of the garden. Neatly trimmed box hedging provides framework for the borders, hosting a variety of flowers, shrubs and scented roses. An attractive terrace area provides seating amongst the owners carefully cultivated Bonsai arrangements which include forests and glades.

This pretty secluded seaside cottage is bursting with colour. The garden is approached by a number of steep steps lined with interesting pots and containers of all shapes and sizes. There is a small area of lawn and a pretty summer house.
